The studio

A 1,200 sq ft converted warehouse off Riverside. One barbell, two squat racks, no mirrors on the lifting floor.

A typical week

Two sessions. One walk. A whole lot of recovery.

Most clients train with me twice a week. That's the dose. Anything more and you're not recovering — anything less and you're not adapting.

  • MonLower lift. Deadlift or squat as the main piece, ~60 minutes.
  • WedWalk or zone-2. 30–45 minutes, easy nasal breathing.
  • ThuUpper lift. Press, pull, and a finisher you'll feel for two days.
  • SatWhatever you love. Hike, yoga, garden. Move because you want to.
Who I work with

Three women I work with every week.

01

The midlife strength seeker.

You're 40-something. You've spent two decades doing every cardio class on the schedule. You want to actually lift something heavy for once — and have someone show you how.

02

The postpartum rebuilder.

Your youngest is past the toddler stage. Your body still doesn't feel like yours. You want to come back stronger than before, not just smaller.

03

The perimenopause realist.

The old plan stopped working. Your sleep is weird, your weight is weird, your energy is weird. You want a coach who knows what's changing and what to do about it.

Services

Testimonials

Real women. Real strength.

I came in scared of the barbell and convinced I was too old to start. Six months later I deadlift my bodyweight and my doctor took me off blood pressure medication. Rachel changed my life — that's not an exaggeration.

After my second baby I felt like a stranger in my own body. Rachel didn't try to get me back to who I was — she helped me become someone stronger. I'm a year in and I've never felt this good.
Brittany Hayes
Mom of two, 38
I've had four trainers before Rachel. She's the first one who actually listened. She knew about perimenopause without me having to explain it. That alone was worth the drive.
